Re: 13th Official Tournament
If there is a tie, they have a tiebreaker song and have like 24 hours to get the highest score possible. After that 24 hours, the person with the highest person in the tiebreaker moves on, the rest are out

Re: 13th Official Tournament
Well it looks like it's my turn to join the others in the graveyard. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my performance this past month. Thanks for the fun competition D6 and good luck to the remaining folks in the tournament!

Re: 13th Official Tournament
This is where I drown, I didn't make my goal of reaching the top 8 but I'm still happy with Fractured Sunshine and a good chance for a token from Revenge of the Drowned. I want to thank all my D2 competitors for pushing me so far, especially themastergrant, you're an inspiration.
During this tournament I got my first two (and so far only) 30+ AAAs, got a lot more confident on going for AAAs on 20+ songs and increased my AAA count from 160-something to 256 and rising, increased my comfortable scrolling speed from 2.4 to 2.8, learned the usefulness of trying out the Mirrored option when I'm stuck and discovered how asymmetric my playstyle can be (there are some patterns I can handle fine in one direction but never get perfect in the other), and even though I felt like my score on Breakout wasn't great compared to the rest of D2, it was still my highest AAA equivalency of any song and finally bumped me from level 39 to 40.

Re: 13th Official Tournament
Well I said I would be in Top 16 and above and I achevied it. This was my best tourney run so I'm not mad or anything. Still I did get salty at Snorestop as the ending part of the file was lack luster. But I learned a few things:
- Get better at Grace note patterns and bursts - Have better stamina so I don't have my arms go to sleep - Give more time for me to warmup instead of jumping into file - Practice more tempoing and distance myself and take breaks - Finally get a better keyboard, this ones breaking like the keys are. Anyways with those points out of the way I made Zorack proud by getting at least top 16. I want to thank: - Zorack24 for helping play this game more - _Fluttershy_ for the person who inspired me to play cuz I was a mad brony at the time lol - Xiz for also being there and being my fav stepfile artist - FFR Staff for hosting the tourney. Well anyways hope to keep playing more. I will upload the satus of my replays soon and talk about what I could of improved on: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSg...vbFAAaebi70bHg |

Re: 13th Official Tournament
May as well join the thread of people talking about drowning this round lol
Honestly just joining this OT, I never went in to win but just to see how far I ended up going, and round 5 way exceeded my expectations, I've been constantly skillboosting throughout this tourney and I couldn't feel happier about where I placed for my first OT (even if it was 16th out of 16 lol). Just honestly want to thank Ultimate Mike7, Pizza69, Hakulyte, MarcusHawkins, ULTIMEGA, CammyGoesRawr, BigHayden1 (still sorry I sniped you <3) and many others for the overwhelming support I got throughout my time in the tournament and for motivating me to get as far as I did (especially on Trap Funk). Also a huge thank you to the FFR Staff for organizing probably one of the best community experiences I have ever gotten to be a part of in a game. I'm still gonna see how far I can push ghosting D6 and D5, but my time as a living competitor has ended. Still rooting for Mike (Semi-Pettanko Brother) and Arere (Mid D6 Gang) to go as far as they can in this!

Yeah I am not SDGing this file lol. I'll just be happy to move on to the next round. This is rough...
edit: posted right after file came out when I was super low on sleep and in a bad mood. I think I got this. Just posted up a good score Last edited by Bach96; 08-5-2020 at 08:44 AM.. |

WSCB and .Gazelle.: you have 24 hours to get the best score on floating point (Drumcorps Remix) to break the round 5 tie. Loser goes home in 9th place.
