To stay on topic, will controller support be removed? I know almost everything related to pads will be/has been removed but what about controllers like that four button one that Staiain uses?

you can still run lua scripts in fg changes to do whatever.

no as i said visual modifiers haven't been touched in any way outside of being unlisted at player options which i can relist within 2 minutes, which i'm willing to do given that the player options page is no longer used that often

i see no reason for me to affect changes to any pages pertaining to controller support/drivers

It can be. Is a new server and you might have to go on the site and resister first, you might not.

why does not make a way to show what keys you're using during the play?
i saw some stepmania videos having that function available.

Technically there is I think, if you press f4 to open that options menu and turn on "Lights Debug" I believe, it sorta shows input... I'd imagine that could be modified to actually show it in a good way

I had that theme before but never know how to modify that part in the theme.
It was displayed whitout selecting an option.

it's pretty possible to do in vanilla sm5 by just editing the theme

After thinking about it, I think I'll accept the new scoring system and the lack of chord cohesion now that I fully understand it. I'll try this fork of Stepmania once I get the chance and probably come up with some documentation since some stuff here still has to be explained without sifting through this thread.
