About the divide by 0 thing, you could just put in a line of code somewhere that says if the application attempts to divide by 0, just put in the textbox "PA: [insert # of arrows here]". I'm sure it's simple coding... but I don't code in Flash... T_T (not till I take my class in '09 or later anyway)

I think the number of credits should be determined with a combination of score and PA.

1 credit for each 30 combo in your max (which is kinda how it is now)
1 credit for each % above 90. (90%= 0 credit, 91%= 1 credit, 92%= 2 credits, so on.) in your overall PA but only if you completed the song. That would increase the maximum amt. of credits. (Possibly to be used on characters and junk... hint hint hint.)

So if you AAAd {Rose} you'd get 50 credits instead of 40.

EDIT: Wouldn't the percentage be number of current goods/number of perfects possible so far in the song?

pre-total(the number shown at the bottom of the screen)/MAX pre-total * 100(%) is better.

also, credit cap sucks.

Agree with jimerax, and I support to idea of PA determining MP winner; I've always found the entire scoring system unlogical in the way that it rewards a mashed higher combo over significantly better PA but a lower combo.

(500-100-15-0-80; 615 combo) beats (614-0-0-1-0; 400 combo)? :/

Although I disagree with the scoring system, I don't think it should be suddenly changed.. but hopefully a more logical scoring system is being considered for 3rd style.

Do you know how crazy people would go if PA beat combo in MP? All the scores would have to be changed in the levelranks, the ranks would change, ur grand total would change... I can confidently say that the scoring isn't going anywhere.
