Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Sent in Rolex Nike Air Low Low Interest and Extratone in a Perfect World for this batch. If the batch doesn't reach 120 files for a few days I might even be able to get in an Extratone Pirates collab.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Ugh, one of the songs I submitted for the easy batch didn't get judged. I thought I sent it in the same way as the other one. Anyone have any ideas what went wrong? It was the one bmah told me to resend and I resent it with the fixed to what he didn't like about it. I thought I fixed it all.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
ATTENTION DOSSARD (Short for DOSSAR RETARD). YOU ARE A TRASHY JUDGE. QUIT NOW.
I demand a rejudge of his subjectively trashy notes and also request he NEVER judge a chart of mine again. All the bolded notes are subjective Eternity - 6/10 - Doubling the BPM would make this file much better to read/play through and would make the file look less messy considering at such a slow BPM there are color notes all over the place and that is inappropriate for a file of this difficulty. Also, the gallop at second 20.18 stands out in a bad way and should just be a single note. [-1] - Simple solution to remove the minijacks in this file and open your file to more flexible pattern usage: turn the hands into jumps and the jumps into single notes. There is no justifiable reason to have layering this heavy for such a calm and soothing piece of piano music. [-2] - Recolor the very ending so it appears as the notation of the rest of the file Shade - 6/10 - Only use the jumps to accent the percussion or piano – there are cases like second 30.94 that occur throughout the file where there is a soft sound but it is stepped as a jump because of two low sounds and it’s inappropriate for this song’s softness. The hands are also overdoing it. [-2] - Turn all the 64th gallops into jumps instead. Consider the file’s low difficulty. The attempted color theory is also inappropriate for this song; just use a jump instead to accent the piano in those spots. [-1] PS: 7/10 you fucking tard Nekomimi Switch - 6/10 - What was done in Measures 35-50 would have been much better for Measures 11-26. Also for the melody sections such as Measures 3-10 the jumps aren’t needed; just make the 8th minijacks or 3 note jacks to the percussion as needed rather than the jumps. [-2] - Second 34.25: Missing 4th note - For Measures 50-66 I liked the idea of the 43214321 8th rolls but the pattern usage for that sound is inconsistent. [-1] - Turn all the 64th gallops into jumps instead. Consider the file’s low difficulty. The attempted color theory is also inappropriate for this song; just use a jump instead to accent the piano in those spots. [-1] Also bolded ones here are just are not agreeable to me from halogen I also request that he no longer judge my charts, assuming he again docked a free point(s). And a rejudge at least be done all charts of mine if he did. That shit wouldn't fly at thirdstyle, it shouldn't fly here. And you guys think you're a better team than TS With shitty judges like dossard and Aj docking free point? You've got to be shitting me. That's a fucking joke. Eternity (Xx{Midnight}xX) Rating: [+?] [5/10] - it's quite obvious that you're trying to use pitch relevancy -- it could use a little bit of tweaking in a few areas - the thing I'm having issues getting past is the extremely heavy layering, because it doesn't consistently represent a structure that would be acceptable for the given areas: + for example, 19.106 to 29.692 is mostly correct in terms of combined layering when accounting for the piano, high string and low strings (or high piano/low piano and strings as one cohesive instrument -- either way, the layering is sensibly done for both scenarios) + however, from 36.043 to 48.746, there's only a running melody with a chord that happens every beat, and every chord is accented as a triple, which would make your chart seem awkward compared to the previous section. In addition to this, there are some jumps in this sections that, if attempting to follow chords, should not exist (49.099 and 51.216, for example) + to things a bit more questionable, the section preceding this (52.980 to 69.917) completely omits the strings after returning, which makes the first section seem incorrect in a holistic sense; the layering doesn't seem to fluctuate in correspondence to the song whatsoever, it seemingly accents the piano as triples regardless of what is going on. This gives you less room to deviate your chart, which is really necessary for a song with a running melody that lasts this long... + in 52.980 to 69.917, there are some jumps that attempt to accent chords that do not exist (66.036, 68.153) + 88.971 to the end: there are instances where chords with three notes come in on 8th notes, but they fluctuate in and out of doubles/triples in your chart - merely a minor detail, but the accenting power within the notes is quite noticeable (listen to 90.030 [two note chord] and 94.264 [three note chord] - throughout the entire chart, there are repeated taps that look like they should be corresponding to something that might be repeating, but no such thing exists; this is likely a by-product of the over-layering contained within the chart - there's also an obvious rallentando (gradual slowdown) at the end of the song, so sync it properly I'm also gonna commentate on this, I'm fully aware it slows down and have left it on purpose. I wanted to show the slow down by having the colors, not by sitting there and hand sycning it. While I understand what you're saying, this will not be changed. Ever. I'm fed up with judges like Dossar wrecking reviews because of subjective trash, either point out something legitly wrong or don't give below a 7. Docking two points because you think "There is no justifiable reason to have layering this heavy for such a calm and soothing piece of piano music. [-2]" Let me remind you W is legitimately fucking awful no matter how you look at it with missing notes, uneeded minijacks, and all around it should have been cut because it's boring as fucking hell. There was no reason to leave it cut. -10 for wasting my fucking time. Quit being a judge till you actually know what you're doing. Even I can do it better. Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
what's wrong with docking points for something deemed overlayered and not in keeping w/ style of the music?
