Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Sup Just bought myself a precision dancepad and started playing ITG stuff again. I'm extremely out of shape lol. This is my third session and I finally got a star, woot!
And then I tried to pass my Centipede chart and failed miserably lol. I just finished the chart yesterday. Gonna take a lot of work to get back to where I was. I'll get there Also, if anyone knows of any good themes for OpenITG PC I'd greatly appreciate some links to stuff. The default ITG theme still sucks as much as I remember. EDIT: One more! First 11 passed with the new pad I love this song.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Some more fun stuff
I made an easier chart for Centipede since the 12 was way too much for me right now. It's still really tiring though just because of the song length. Up from an 89%

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
i got ~15 measures away from passing stay with me on my cobalt flux
the pad connection is unstable (precision control box doesn't have those screws the legit control box does) but i can still pass (usually AA) ddr x rating 15s ez

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Had a friend over yesterday and he helped me sync my OpenITG install and it made a HUGE difference. I knew I was out of shape and practice but I thought my scores were way lower than they should be. Much better now :P

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Had a good session today This new theme makes it SO much better to play (HUGE thanks to NeoMaxx69 for hooking me up with the theme <3).
Going to be practicing this song a bit so I can do the WinDEU course version. The flip/invert mods hurt my brain...Pretty good score for a 5+ minute song Fuuuuuuuuu I died at such a stupid part I got off by one arrow and missed like 8 in a row and failed before I could tell I missed anything because they were super small and there was no judgement visible. I think this'll be my first WHY course I pass. This stuff is a lot more fun than his old Insomnia courses; much better quality.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Eureka shouldn't be that bad once you get a handle on the top/bottom split reading as well as the scratch disk part.
or stage 4, you really have to watch out for the rhythms. It varies alot and if you keep a constant triplet pattern with singles, you're going to be off - watch for the 16th notes and gaps where there's no 4ths or 8ths even. As for passing 5evr, if you pass it before I do I'll be stupidly impressed because if you've never seen stage 5 or 6, you're in for the biggest dunking that you've ever had in your entire life holy crap The course with Nuclear F(u/is)sion was the first course of windeu's I passed since the mods aren't as intense. The files are a little bit more difficult, but managable what are you doing what

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
I made it to the last song last night and it totally kicked my ass. I wasn't sure what to expect and didn't last long at all I tried to keep playing but 7 minutes was waaaaaay too long for me to handle after all that other stuff x.x I really need to play Golden Slaughter outside of the course to get more used to it before I'm going to get close to passing that madness.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Dude, YoshL...I completely didn't realize that Golden Slaughter wasn't the 6th song XD I was watching it on autoplay to get a better feel for the mods and then the final song came up...
I have no idea how the hell I'm going to do that x.x This suddenly got a lot harder haha.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
so i think i'm either playing around my control box or it's broken in well enough that i don't get bullshitted
i can't ma on this shit for shit tho i think at this point i'd either pass with a bar or without the pad fucking migrating by a full foot while i'm playing this

Re: ITG/DDR Scores
Bottom-page post, but oh well.
On Friday after not playing for two weeks it was nice that I could still stream 170 reasonably well. I'm trying to play twice a week with maybe some running in between if time permits now that there is a machine I can access a little less than an hour away with good pads. I was only able to do this after playing other files with less candle-heavy patterns. In the 170s range. Video Had a death scream in the last run. Breakdown is 24/16 where the break is a small 8 measure section to regain some life. This was very painful. Video This is 68 straight measures of comfortable 154 BPM 16th stream patterns. It wasn't as bad as I originally expected it to be. First 12 FEC? This is probably an 11, but still pretty good accuracy for me nonetheless. (Title doesn't display properly, it's Yozora No Muko from DDRStream PreSupernova)
