Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
You're both reading properly, looking directly at the receptors is something you'd do if you're trying to read an incredibly slow scroll speed. Timing comes with playing more, it seems like you're just mind-blocked Krunky, try taking a break and get back at it on Monday/Tuesday or something lol

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
You don't look directly at the receptors, just close to it (just below it) - and a change of scrolling speed may help as well. But sometimes that helps if you really want to investigate why you get random goods. What you see is what you're hitting. If you look in the middle of the screen all the time, then "what you see is what you might be hitting". That sort of spacial difference can reduce interpretive accuracy, and when timing comes down to a matter of frames, that can make a difference.
edit: sometimes I might direct my eyes more left or right of the screen depending on where the arrow patterns go. If there are a lot of up and right arrows for instance, I'll be observing that side of the screen more closely for the time being. All in all, that sort of active observation might help you, krunky. Internet speed doesn't affect FFR performance

Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament
lol yeah it sure seems that way Krunky.
But yeah, i might try looking at the middle like usual for the whole file minus the trill section and try to look a bit closer to the receptors so i can see exactly what im hitting better. I swear, im O.K. at trills but if i dont get lucky i dump 3-4 goods on just one of them haha
