Both you and dbp had a few long stretches where you were absent and town was stuck spinning their wheels tinfoiling. If theres a point in you or someone else's game that you think was pivotal, point it out. Id love to be proven wrong. I want to recognize people's role's in winning the game for town, not ignore them.

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
Mostly it's just people who if not for them town could have easily lost.
So raeko, dbp, and possibly manti. Although I think Manti could have been much more effective if he had not gotten bogged down in arguing with charu. His reads were solid but they never lead to anything game changing. I will admit him pulling off of xel d1 possibly opened the door for later reads/actions I dunno maybe I'm biased somehow/missing something. I might have to reread Everyone played good, they all get hm

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
i'm mostly roasting your nuts dude
the current MVPs/HMs are the right people, i think debating who goes on a growing list or not isn't really useful anyway, might as well just do player commentary manti and AA both did well in terms of read accuracy so that gets a :thumb: from me |

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
If I did nothing else this game, I tanked charu's humanity.
Pretty sure DBP doesnt seer charu if not for me and him fighting. Can't say i had much more of an impact then that. My reads were largely correct, but fighting charu for 2 days phases was brutal and honestly a waste of my time. Took me way too long to realize he was being intentionally stubborn and not just town tunnel stubborn.

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
some thoughts re: the setup:
one minor complaint I had about this setup was that it was mathematically impossible for Superstar to have its full ability trigger, since there were only 9 town-sided players at the beginning compare against the Hero, the supposedly equally-balanced counterpart who can always theoretically have his "final ability" trigger I suppose it makes sense because it is practically impossible for the Hero to live 1v1 against a wolf team, but it seems as though listing the Hero and the Superstar together is a false equivalency -- i.e. they are not equally strong none of this mattered THIS game because we mislynched at the start of the game, so even if we did have 10 town players, the super ability wouldn't have triggered, but just some feedback for later iterations this next bit is another minor nitpick that doesn't matter because it's rooted in personal preference but I'm not really a fan of RNG in night actions -- this is mostly related to the wolf roles' abilities that said I'm not sure how to balance those roles without an RNG element, so bleh the setup as a whole was a lot of fun to be a part of, and its true potential unfolded over the course of the game thanks for hosting freezin! |

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
also somebody mentioned this in the deadchat at some point, but having a wolf-sided stump could potentially have made things really fucky if Charu wasn't a good sport about it

it's kind of a hard role to have - you can nerf it in ways (maybe not tell them who the wolves are or let them into the chat) but it's still subject to people who would wanna be bad sports about it, and probably why you only ever see town tree stumps sunfan grabbed the role of the day off MU (frontrunner) which would shake up the stakes because they still count as a player |

Re: TWG CLXXII - Postgame
That's boring though, and plus, the ignore feature this site has kind of negates that. Don't think it gets rid of the message box though.
Either way, it's a toxic way to play the role I think. |
