Re: TWG CLIV: An Old School Slumber Party - GAME THREAD
There is no kick function in Discord that I'm aware of (unless kick from the server).
YoshL definitely didn't do that. Though will confirm that he did started muting and moving him around in this specific Discord during their argument. |

this is me completely beside my current alignment but
I get that this was in another chatroom that wasn't TWG related but I don't think muting him is really all that fair

hey xiz can i ask you something
because of horrid short term memory did i ask you why you were town reading me then you mentioned my initial reaction to you being really towny and that being the exchange, rather than "no reaction"? |

also, I don't really see how I can townread you if you're muting the person accusing you, I get that maybe he was just being a piece of shit and not letting you talk but like
...really? muting him?

*shrug*
I saw it, at first, as a friendly "Stop that" gesture. But I can definitely see it being thrown at a very negative way |

Re: TWG CLIV: An Old School Slumber Party - GAME THREAD
it's a serious question to Xiz, because i'm almost positive that I asked why he was townreading me. Had I not responded at all to him saying that i was 100% town, i'm pretty sure i wouldn't have known the reason for his townread
like, this is me and bad short term memory questions |

Re: TWG CLIV: An Old School Slumber Party - GAME THREAD
Will butt in and mention I also don't remember, but I certainly don't recall a moment of silence when Xiz stated that.
Then again, maybe I'm just tired and then TWG talk happened at 12:45AM ish in some server I didn't expect TWG talk to happen |

Re: TWG CLIV: An Old School Slumber Party - GAME THREAD
From my perspective, using your mod powers to mute and remove me from the call (into afk) multiple times while I was trying to tell charu about my argument was bm and extremely, extremely wolfy.
Even when I came back 4 min later, you said "...99% of the time, xiz is, oh xiz is back" then removed me from the call again.

Muting was probably too much. What's done is done though. It's an action that I took, and I don't think it's angleshooting to incorporate it into your reads given that it is a component of OOTC |

But like seriously people record your voice calls. Without things like logs to go off of we don't have the information to make decisions off of. And remember people remember things different to how they are sometimes We need exact proof. |

While yes, being weary of such a statement is a good thing, it's not an evidence-less post because pretty much all they gotta do is cite the game this happened in so we can go read it / the post game because I'm pretty sure such a thing would get referenced SOMEWHERE. But against this, one it's day 0 and it's a shit show, two it's not like we always use the best of reasoning to make lynches. so at the end of the day if they can cite the game, I see no issues. |

And no, d0 lynched are rarely good lynches, but that doesn't mean we should except shitty reasoning instead of finding the best possible lunch. |
