        normally yes, but sometimes they can visit the mafia the night the mafia arm themselves, which will kill the visitor

                    If a mafia is jailed, and the mafia decided to arm themselves that night, and the visitor visits the mafia in jail, do both the jailer and visitor die?

                        I presume both jailer & visitor die, because jailer would have to successfully target, and they die when they target.

                                    Mafia does indeed arm themselves, but they are placed within jail and cannot kill anyone who visits, including the jailkeeper.
