Default Relaxed thread

Well, yesterday and today sure were filled with some juicy drama, here on FFR. It was at times harsh, at times funny, and pretty much always full of passion. Now that it seems to have settled down, I feel like settling down too. I feel like just talking about what's new with all of you, if you're excited about the batch, if you got a monstrous score on a shitty file or if you received something awesome through the mail. Or anything else! Like, what are you eating/listening to/stepping/watching/thinking/eating/listening to/about/?

Sup guys? <3

+1 to general thread Last night I recovered my asdfmovie song file from DF Probably gonna send it into the next batch. Since you brought up the batch, I'm actually nervous. My first file I know was unfinished, I'd take that, but I really thought my Blackout file was good and I dunno, I'm not necessarily UPSET about any judging, but more like getting my files judged typically makes me depressed I guess. I'm sure that there are people who would enjoy my files, but I feel like I can't really appeal to a judge very well, I guess. It's hard to explain so I don't know if what I'm saying is really how I feel, but I don't have a problem with sending a file to the DF engine so I don't really know what's up. Always either just send a file there or pretty much keep it to myself or share it with ~Z~ because we're bros :3

I myself am rather stressed about the batch, actually. I sent car select by katoh, a song that demands chart perfection since the song is so good. What's bothering me, though, is that I wasn't prepared for the batch to open so soon and I ended up stepping the whole thing under 2 hours, roughly. I never did that before, I always take my time (like months) before sending in a file. It might get rejected, who knows. What should matter more right now are my exams coming soon at University (which begs the question: am I a good student for taking some time to post here?...). Anybody has had to use this book before? It's superb but, man, what we're doing in that class is so much different from high school/cegep and all T_T

Nah it's actually a ton of fun to read. It's just that it's over my capabilities at times. I might ask pro mathematicians of FFR about that topic somewhen, lol, if I really need to

ps:edit because it is on topic: if anyone was looking for a working link to download the pack I put up on 2011, here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=121168, just ask!

Had a pretty good day during my Visual Basic lecture/seminar; ended up finding out that I was the only person to nail the all of the added challenges in the previous assignment, felt awesome.

Work is also on the horizon -- lots of things to look forward to.

Also, I finished a file for a 5 minute drumstep song by Dave (Boyinaband) for the batch. I hope it gets accepted because it will be the longest file I've charted for FFR so far.

I've used it. It's not an easy book - it's usually read by junior or senior physics majors. It requires a decent familiarity with math.
