i'm working on figuring out how to do effects like this in the sm5 editor since it lets you add effects with in-program options. only problem at the moment is not being able to change the % effect numbers.
Yeah man, for me, coursemods are the only way to do things right now

Changed a few things with a song

      Dubstep VIP Tutorial
      • Changed default xmod from 3 down to 2
      • There was an unreadible part in the song, tuned down the mod at that part to make it readible

can't you do those mods in sm5 without courses now anyways? or are there still certain mods that don't apply to that

in SM5 you can apply mods but, as far as i can tell, you can't change the percent of the effect, and that's kind of key to making mods like that

But you can't change the percentages of certain mods, as stated above

                    Re: Tekzaport's Gimmick Files

I looked at your song on Youtube, the dubstep tutorial one.

It's pretty sick to look at, but it's pretty unreadable. Is there a way to view the file (I know it's a course file technically), in the editor without the gimmicks? I'm pretty sure you can't, but if you just attach a raw file meant for c-mod, it would give us a chance to see your stepping style and memorize the file a bit more. Just a suggestion, I wouldn't take my word for it though. People be cray.

it's difficult but it isn't unreadable haha

Hard indeed. I play course and C-mod files quite a bit now because they're entertaining, and even this one gives me some serious issues. In time I think I could get it down from memorization, but just reading it is rough.
