omfg. If something is giving Rubix a hard time, then it's impossible for the rest of us.

PS I was the first to beat this game 8) It honestly didn't take me very long at all to get to 53, but it gets tough around there. I actually didn't have any trouble with 54, stormed to 57 and was off by 2 for like over a week (it didn't even involve the hard 'trick' which I figured out in maybe minutes =/). Everyone had trouble with 66 too, but I beat it 2nd try when amelio gave it to me to test (optimally too, since he had originally the wrong, suboptimal route). I think the hardest level for me was Whiteboy. Even though I made it, it took me a long time to find the optimal path. In particular there are several dozen ways of getting through the section on the left and only one of them yields the optimal path...and it happens to be, IMO, the least obvious one >_>. Since it happens to be one of those counter intuitive 'waste 10 steps to save 12 in the end' type puzzles. For those that have never seen it, here's the final stage:

Re: Psychopath - A Fun, Challenging Game
It's all easy stuff . Play my custom levels in PP2 for a challenge. (Under JeffB)
P.S. Although it would seem typical of stagroup to place himself above others, he really did beat the game. |

Just found this today, got to level 19 in about 20 minutes and then realized I could be doing better things.

Re: Psychopath - A Fun, Challenging Game
I spent a year on 54 (legitimately trying the whole time, mind you)
Now 55 has me. Oh well. I'm not good at completing the puzzles, but I've got over 250 custom levels if you feel like playing mine. Some of them are quite hard, too

Re: Psychopath - A Fun, Challenging Game
This is a fun game, i remember when reach made a bunch of levels and i could only beat two. I got up to 54 before giving up; the first hard one is 30, then a few until 51 are hard, then pretty much every one from there on out is really difficult.
Then the server crashed and **** it if i'm beating 53 again. Good soundtrack too. Last edited by Pumble; 03-28-2008 at 09:25 PM.. |

Re: Psychopath - A Fun, Challenging Game
Ok. I'm stuck on 48. I need some help. Maybe someone send me a screenshot with the key points I need to go in the order they need to be taken? I'm just stuck on the order of moves and how to get through the bottom middle. I didn't even have this tough of a time on level 30 and 42 when I first played this game.
