lol I stopped using my yahoo email because in any one week, I would get more than 300 emails like that.

Edit: happy fapping to anyone who gets into that email, I probably have thousands of emails that have porn in them or link to porn.

Anyways, chain mail is there as propaganda. It's not that hard to figure out why people do it. They are trying to turn the internet into their personal army. That's what /b/ is for. *coughchanologycough*

You have to wonder if any of the stories in these chain letters are even real.

Also, I rarely get chain mail anymore. If I get it, it's from friends, and no matter how close a friend they are, I threaten them so hard about their chain mailings that I never get any anymore. What's funny is the next day at school or wherever if I see them, they don't mention a thing about it. They totally act like I hadn't threatened to rip out both of their kidneys through their throat and then shove them into their penis. But I never get another chain mail.

The only chain mail I like is the ones you get on holidays. And the ones where people pick you as ones they truly love or something. But I never forward them.

I really hate the ones that are really long and just completely stupid. Facebookers might recognize this header: "TEST UR TONGUE" and then a lot of "find the letter" crap with tons little symbol decorations and then the "snd 2 x ppl thn prss F3 nd ur crushes name wll appr on teh scrn"

I think the term you're looking for is "chain letter." Chainmail was a handy, if cumbersome, item in the medieval era. Not even many knights could afford full plate armor, so most just went with a suit of chainmail with some plates over the torso and legs.

Sorry, too much D&D. On topic, I usually find myself too lazy to send chain letters on to the next hapless victim.

I loathe chain letters/mail. Especially the "good" kind such as "Jesus died on the cross for you. 97% of people don't care [obviously made up statistic]. If you're one of those 3%, send this to ten people if you are thankful." I think Jesus would really just want you to follow him than waste your time sending people spam. It's sad what Christians are becoming.
