TWG XI Post-game ramble

The humans had the odds stacked against them big time. With practically all the special roles dead before the first half of the game, the wolves were free to kill whoever they wanted. And with the Cenright getting booted, it made it that much easier for the wolves to head onto victory. While I was on live, ld told me about the little deal aperson and shox made, but then I get on to find that instead of helping each other out, ld goes for the win and wolf’s aperson. Then, a few minutes later, the three remaining wolves (two in the bemstyl tribe and one in the Flarev tribe) instalynch the last remaining human.

There were a few blunders on the human’s part. They lynch a seer, than a guardian fails to save the other.

Interesting game except for my absences and absences of others.

All in all, the wolves had it made from the beginning and it was really to see if humans or wolves won, it was to see which tribe of wolves won.

People always disreguard my opinion. On day 1 I was pretty sure you were a wolf, and by day 2 I was sure you were a wolf. My "bad move" did nothing anyway. You know yourself that you had enough people behind you to lynch me the next day no matter what I did.

Actually it was a plan to figure out if omega was a blue or not. And it worked because I killed Omega that night.

I nominate AP for MVP. Although LD seems the obvious choice for pulling through at the end, AP was making awesome decisions the whole time, and honestly, what LD did wasn't that great... I'm not that intelligent of a person to begin with. AP was the one that first suggested wolfing Tass, he had half the players in the palm of his hand, etc.


And for anyone who really wants to know how I feel right now, my away message sums it up quite nicely.


Oh and one last thing: you guys are wussies... REAL WOLVES DON'T LEAVE REMAINS!

Wow, now that I think of it. ld and aperson were all lol and wanting to share their roles. I didn't think that they were both wolves, but now I know I was right.

In my opinion, this game was too easy for the wolves, too hard for humans.

Hah, I had every role down except Ld, he was my wildcard.

I'm getting sick and tired of getting bandwagoned.

I got voted because I didn't state my ideas in one post. Wow, that fact that I was out ski-ing could have been it. I wasn't being pessimistic, I wasn't being at fatlist. I WAS BEING A ****ING REALIST! I told you that Tass dieing was going to screw us over, and that we needed to form a plan. We couldn't just wait around and expect 6 wolves to "slip up", it's not going to happen. This isn't a normal TWG, It was completey different. We needed special role alliances, and we didn't get it, and we lost, plain and simple.

Good game wolves, I knew most of you, too late though, good agme humans, we had it going for a while, but a bad turn of guardianship screwed us over.

To explain: I pretended to be guardian so that I'd be seered. Unlucky for me, the seers had both died the day before. No special role came to me after I "came out." I talked to Omega before and asked which Guardian he was, and he said he guarded the gore wolves, so I pretended to be the other. I accidentally said non-gore wolves in that post (which got me killed) because I was thinking "I'm the non-gore guardian, I'm the non-gore guardian" so that I wouldn't slip up. Whoops.

Also: Remember last game how I said I didn't think me acting wolfy was because of being a wolf, but because of Inf? I think this further proves that. Everybody who talked to me thought I was a wolf, just about. That's one reason I was willing to risk the guardian thing. I expected to die anyway, but I guess telling a wolf that I was faking it helped keep me alive.

And: Remember when I said that I would try hosting if I died? Well I died, so yeah. Blind game ho!

That's exactly why I was willing to try that stupid fake seering. I still would like someone to clarify how trying to find a wolf would make me a wolf. Honestly, the wolves were working together at that point and to risk death to find another wolf would be retarded.

What I mean when I say working together is that they were working on the same goal: Kill humans. They weren't as worried about getting each other, because humans were better choices for kills.

The only thing I'm pissed about is that Omega came out to me in a PM. He tells me he is a guardian. AND THEN HE DOESN'T GUARD ME. Yes, I had to reveal his role to keep him alive, but if I hadn't... he was going to die, sure thing. Anyone disagree with my decision?

And, to roopert... Sorry buddy. Wish you had been around to talk to me. The whole game could have gone differently. I likely still would have been wolfed, but at least not killing you would have given us a chance. Please be smarter next time though, seriously.

EDIT: kinda good I died though... I don't remember 100%, but I'm pretty sure I seered Eric night 2. Had I lived I woulda been another puppet to AP.

Sorry for getting you lynched, eb. There was NOTHING else, and I was also wondering why a guardian would still have been alive after two nights. I also thought that faking you're a guardian meant that they're probably a wolf...

But anyway, yeah. I think there were just too many people to get a clear view of what was happening. That and the fact that the wolves were wolfing wolves (supposedly).

Ugh... and @ Neo, I agree. The chat died after like Night 6 (although I guess it was because everyone in there was a wolf). I do think communication is easier with less people (I'm guessing, because I haven't actually played a 16-person TWG). But yeah... I don't think I did very well this game.

But I was kind of suspicious about shox, just because all he did was bandwagon. But I chocked that up to inactivity, and not bothering to read through carefully enough.

ok this was ridiculous... I had basically figured Tass for a seer, and since I knew Omega was guardian, and I was psychic.. it meant roopert was seer or guardian, since I was fairly sure he wasn't red...

I basically figured out several important things
A) AP knew almost all the roles.
B) He knew a guardian was dead.
C) AP was a wolf....

There was very little I could do with this knowledge, and a main crux was that neither of us knew obviously if the live guardian was against his team or not... So I basically tried to do the only thing I could do to give myself and my team a chance... I told him that I was blue, I hinted TREMENDOUSLY that I knew he was red, and he got the impression I was a seer. I offered to help him find the other wolves in exchange for letting me live, he of course agrees to it and kills me that night. There was really nothing else I could do but figure that Omega would guard me, since I had contacted him by PM... It turns out that both teams went for me, obviously with LD thinking me too big a threat (by the way everyone, I announced him as the clearest wolf from before the game even started, but no one listened)

Alright, so here's how it went down:

Aperson hits me up on AIM confessing he's a wolf, but he has a strong suspicion I'm a wolf and thought I was the only one left on the team. So I make a deal with him and we team up and try and both vote for neo, making it look like one team is left, but he tells LD he took out Whorlichan. Now, he threatened me if I wolfed him, he'd have a human pawned player expose me and have me dead, but unfortunately for him, that pawned player was LD playing along, and so I was aware of everything that he told LD. So LD and I decide that removing aperson would be the greatest advantage knowing he's a strong player and a big threat, and that leaves just us two, Neo, and ImEric12 left. LD convinces Eric to vote for Neo, and instalynch. Yay. Game over.

I was fairly inactive, but juuuust enough so that I kept most suspicion away from me, but active enough so that I appeared somewhat involved.

Honestly, the only reason shox won the game too is because eric was foolish enough to vote neo. Honestly, ap told you he was a wolf, why did you let me change your vote? Thats the only thing that didn't make sense to me.

If you could've gotten to Neo first, you could've instalynched shox with his one phantom, and left it up to a knife in box between me and neo on the final day.

Nice game AP. I don't like this 2 wolf team game. There are too many people, and if you are a plain human, your role is pointless. It's like a chess game. The humans are worthless sacrificial pawns, in the hands of the wolves and blues. I'm still confused on why I was voted off, when there were a lot of innactive people not helping us, at least I was bringing out conversation.

Heh, I figured everyone out by day 5, but it didn't matter. I liked some of the players' style's this game. TWG XII should be fun.

I want two things and I hope they go to votes.

One: You be unable to vote for yourself. It is a tactic that in real life that every one would say "Oh, come one and be serious." It allows someone to not be Idle and yet be Idle.

Two: Idleness booting. Everyone is supposedly all together in this area, so for them be able to stay idle for 2 full game days shouldn't be allowed. It is just a wrench in the game.



This is all to keep people in the game and working. No one is able to sit back until they throw a REAL vote out there, and so it keeps the evidence flowing.

Alright, sorry once again to get this in so late...

WHen TPS said he was discussing the game with me, it was the same night we got PMs. We were discussing possibilities and weeding out any false assumptions we might have about the rules and whatnot. After I logged out, I realized that I had went to far in discussing it... I was looking to valuable for my own good.

The next day in the chat, I acted like a dumb n00b. Seering weak players? Seeing who wasn't on AIM? It was all a ploy to make me look like a bad kill. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Hans had decided to kill me right after he got his PM. The reason was that I was intelligent, but not good enough yet to be guarded. Plus, he just had a bad feeling about me. Well, he was right. I was his team's psychic. Unfortunately, he got killed the same night. Karma?

I'm surprised that Afrobean totally bought my n00b act. He really thought I WAS a n00b. His posts and discussion in the chats... "OMG n00b nforcer n00b dead n00b". Blah, as well as others, saw right through my n00b act, but apparently Afro couldn't see it.

Now, the Kenzya issue, Afro, he WAS NOT trying a strategy. He simply did not want to play. After constantly trying to get him to at least post, he did... "I'm a human." That's all there is to say about that.

Good game though, guys. The humans played poorly, though. You made so many mistakes, and just simply screwed yourselves over :?
