The simple way to make a stepfile is just to copy another .DWI file, open it up with Notepad and just edit what you want in it like BPM and Titles.
To create new steps, delete all the numbers after the difficulties so it looks like this: #SINGLE:ANOTHER:7 No numbers here); Then just put that DWI file and the song you want into its own folder. Open up SM and go into the Edit/Sync songs. Look for the song and just edit the steps. The easiest way to do this is to hit the space bar, scroll down with Page Down key and hit space again. Then hit Enter and select Record in Selection. The song plays and you just hit the keys where you want the arrows to show up. I hope that makes some sense.^^ Oh yeah, I think u can use other formats like WAV and OGG. But generally ppl use MP3. I know WMA and any Real formats don't work. |
