Is the top 1000 shirt from an old listing, or is it updated occassionally?
Since I'm now well into the top 1000, I think I'd like to get one, but only if my name is on there. Thanks for any replies. And if anyone knows a way to pay (for shirt or subbie) without having to go through Paypal (since they seem to hate me), I'd also be appreciative.

Would the names be from the FFR rank?
Or avg rank? Cause either way I'm on it But my FFR rank is like 20times cooler and so much closer to top 100 lol |

You could fit all their stats on it.

When they did it last time, I think they used the overall rank. They could do something different if they make a similar shirt in the future though.

While I like the idea of listing a lower number of people and encouraging competition to be on the shirt, I'm not sure how I'd go about implementing it. Possibly top 100 with their grand total scores listed, 50 on front, 50 on back?
(Note I didn't suggest a number such that I'd be on it. I think my avrank is still around 2K or something.) |

Very Grave Indeed
|
No number of people smaller than the top 1000 will likely ever show up on a t-shirt because of how few people would buy them. The most sales they could expect from a top 50 shirt is 50 people, and chances are good many of them woudln't end up buying them.
Remove the bulk discount on buying shirts, and the bulk discount on printing shirts, and account for the fact that not everyone on it will buy one, and they'd probably have to charge 30 bucks a shirt just to make it worth the effort. |

There are a bunch of websites (zazzle.com and so on) where you can submit a design and then they'll make the shirt themselves for every person that buys it. Since they buy the shirts in bulk anyway, and print them themselves, I think you turn a profit if even one person orders a shirt with the design on it. This might be a viable alternative for making these kind of shirts that few people will end up buying (and if anyone does want to buy another one in the future the company can always print one up).
