Why can't I AAA?

Why can't I AAA the easy songs is what I want to know.
I played Seattle's Finest recently to knock down my average rank. I got 2 goods on it. Took me five tries. Out of 169 notes. In an incredibly easy song considering what I normally play.

And yet, On harder songs I get these big strings of perfects.
20031023 (9, Challenging) - String of ~230 perfects.
Devotion and Desire (8, Very Difficult) - String of ~270 perfects
Visions (NRGyzd mix) (8, Very Difficult) - String of ~280 perfects, and including a couple very tough (for me) patterns

Since I can hit strings of 50-100-150 perfects regularly on songs 6-7-8 bars of difficulty, why can't I hit 100-150-200 on songs waaaay easier?

On my first try of Seattle's Finest I got a good on the first note, and the second.
Second try I got a good on the third note.
Third try I got a good around 15.

Yet, I pull up {Blaze} or Victims and Martyrs or Megane De Ne! and hit the first 75-100 perfect on the first second AND third tries.

I'm just confused why I'm getting good at FC's, and yet suck at my AAA's.

You're nervous, it happens to me too the pressure I guess lol. Like on SLOW and easy songs I get easy goods, but on fast songs I get them like later on into the songs.

Longer songs usually have longer patterns and less volatile rhythms to them. Once you get used to them, your fingers move in sync with longer songs easier. Thats my reasoning. =D

You just need to keep moving up. My first AAA wasn't until I could not only at least pass every single song (except Vertex Beta VROFL of course) and FC many VC songs. Then, I went back and AAA'd easy songs. So, start with the easiest and shortest songs and just move up from there. It might take a while to get the first AAA, but keep trying more and more until you get them and before you know it you will have AAA's all of the Standard and down songs. Also keep in mind that many of the easier songs are old and offbeat, so it may be harder than trying to AAA a more difficult song that is newer and onbeat. Get it?

you are not getting AAAs because you are not hitting all of the notes within the perfect window. if you want AAAs, hit the notes more accurately with relation to their position to the receptors.

anyways, I had the same problem before i realized that I was hitting the arrows more based on sight then on the beat of the song. really focus on the beat and you should notice a change....maybe :P

Try the shortest of the easier songs first. Many of the easier songs feel stretched out; lots of music for so few notes, and you can lose focus and rhythm. Focus harder and do not lose focus, otherwise your focus will be lost.

maybe you should try standard songs.
go play fierce combat.
its good to AAA cause its not too hard, but the notes are constant, so you wont get bored.

old easy files are hard to AAA cuz you lose yer focus.

I am well aware that within the designated time frame that is allotted to a arrow, that when the appropriate key is pressed (I.E. "hit") within said time frame, this will then cause the game to react in a positive manner by giving me the best possible ranking on accuracy for that particular note. By hitting all of the correct keys within said time frame for all of the afore-mentioned arrows, this will result in a perfect game, sometimes also termed AAA. The possible causes to my problems with doing the above actions, may be cause to many things, of which I will list.
1: The sending of packets between the client's computer and the server is experiencing a time differential in which the packet is being delayed either due to unstable connections or interference. This phenomenon is also known as "lag".
2: The digits of the user's hand are experiencing a feeling of fatigue due to overuse or a lack of needed muscle tissue and tone.
3: The player is used to trying to decipher more intricate patterns of arrows, and with the ease of difficulty, is becoming distracted, since the player's mind is accustomed to being more strenuously used.

ok, so I was in the same situation as you are at one point. basically for the past year I kept seeing my rank drop until I was hovering around 330, but had only 29 AAAs. I really just could not get notes perfectly, at least according to the game. a month ago, I started to try to unlock kyuin but was disappointed since the best I could do was 40 goods, much further than the 4 goods on mou uta than needed. well, after giving up, a week later I returned and on my first try got 8 goods.... LOL. ever since that day, I've gotten much much better (126 total AAAs since) and even AAAd famouz and decisive battle. basically what i'm saying is spam the crap out of mou uta and maybe you'll wake up with amazing PA like me =)

If Seattle's Finest is giving you such a hard time, then why not try going for some other AAA's when there's so many other easy songs? Fewer notes does not always mean a song will be easier. Plus I try not to use autofail too much. It psychs me out.
