Numpad. 2.0X, up scroll. Once you get a keyboard that can handle the numpad well, you're good to go.

I use my right hand.

Pointer, middle, ring fingers.

1.75x

Arrow keys.

You should learn to play one handed, with both hands, xD
WASD, 8456.
(Switch every other day)

Then if you decide to one day switch to 2 handed, both your hands will be warmed up.

When I played one handed I played 1.25x (I might have gotten up to 1.5x by the time I switched but I don't remember). I played three fingered (right index, middle, right) on the arrow keys.

...But just play spread =/

learning to play with my left hand... its gonna help me later on for band (i think hehe)
