bg's in sm

Hello all of you out there!

I have also that bg and banner and cdtitle problem as many other...

I have tried all suggestions the pro's have given and sometimes they work
and sometimes not.

But I am so confused... I entered the correct data for the simfile a wanted a special banner for , In both .sm file and .sm.old file, but it still wont work!

These variables have I tried:

*entered the data only in .sm file
*entered the data only in .sm.old file
*entered the data in both
*in none , just laid the bg and banner and cdtitle in the folder ( as many suggest )
*tried the argue that all files should be in png format... suprisingly I think this is a quiet dumb suggestion when stepmania accepts A LOT of formats such as gif and jpg...
*the same as above but with only gifs or only jpg's
*reloading files in-game

The thing I hate with stepmania is that it is like a lotto-game. I have ten songs that I have done the things you should do and banner, cdtitle and bg are showing but why is it like lotto ???

I have checked these "good"-files with the files that are not showing bg and banner and they look exactly the same!

Hmm I guess this is the revolution of computers^^
