Default If I can only use two hands....

Also, can anyone tell me if my improvement has "hit the wall" already? I don't feel like I can't improve with one hand anymore, but I'm still having problems with running man after a two arrow switch.

Go for the switch..unless you are gifted with one hand you'll have to eventually if you intend on playing really hard songs..it's a tough adjustment at first and you'll find yourself having to go down a few difficulty levels..but in time it will be very worth it, trust me ^_^.

And good job on the score, very well done.

I have to improve that score of mine, I don't want it to fall off the top 10 :<

Nice job.

The best record I have in FFR songs is my Hellbeat one, where my rank is 20. I also have Runny Morning where my rank is 25 or something close to that...

It really isn't that hard at all to switch. I don't play FFR, so I can't really tell you whether or not you've "hit the wall". When I played Stepmania it only took me five days before I was breaking my one-handed records with two hands. After that, my progress enjoyed an amazing burst, almost as good as the one when I first played SM. It's awesome to hit patterns that you could never hit one-handed with incredible ease. If you want, however, you can still play one-handed now and then to improve, but your better off with two.

The problem is I don't know how to use it other than using my second(left) hand in hold arrows . I'm trying to use the Reach method, but I don't do very well.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you use the index method, or the standard four fingers like most two-handers? Oh, and you should probably only use the Reach method for Payon 1. (I think that's why it was invented)

I use three fingers with my right hand (I'm not sure what to call them but I use the index, middle, and the finger next to middle), then I use my left index to press on arrows I can't reach during a long hold step.

I tried that out. Wow, that is awkward for hold arrows.

Left Middle/Left
LeftIndex/Down
Right Index/Up
Right Middle/Right

Why don't you try that method? It's much easier, a lot less awkard...I believe that's how most two handers play.

Try to learn two handed if you do want to improve. Many people, like myself, use the way Blaze said. It's very nice to use in Stepmania since you can move the keys to where you want, thus it being less crowded.

You can still play one handed obviously. :P

That's how 1 handers play. Index + Middle + Ring finger. Your better of switching 1 hand won't get you too far and you'll eventually strain your hand playing tough songs.

One hand is awesome. 8)

And what is a running man? I know it's a retarded term for something, but what?

Those are trills/drills. They are easy one handed, except for 8686868686868.

I do them fairly well. I do it as a jump like a quick 86 but faster and it gets me by

That's cheating, and also really stupid, because it gets you horrible PA.

Bah. I started using two hands for the tournament, got really good with it, and completely lost the ability to play some songs one-handed. Herein lies the troubles of switching hands... you gotta practice on both.

Running man is harder usually for two handers, unless you're left handed. I don't like where it's constant 4s as 4ths.. with 286 as 8ths...

424846424846424846 ... hate it...
