This is kind of a piggy back on a combination of subscriber and skill tokens.
Earlier, I suggested there be generic skill tokens, just for doing common things such as getting a 1000 combo, or getting a single digit miss on a Master's Only song. Something like that. devonin agreed with the idea and I was considering making a thread about it. Now that I've thought it over, I came up with the idea while playing Kongregate to have generic accomplishments gain you points which would give you access to certain forums, threads, and parts of the game. Say there's an achievement available to get a FC on a Very Difficult song. If you got the FC you would get X amount of points leading you up to being able to gain access to different parts of the site. None of the achievements would be extremely hard like skill tokens, they would just set a bar and divide players into different skill levels. It would be impossible to repeat the achievement after you've already earned it, preventing you from gaining tons of points from doing the same thing over and over. Example: Johnny over here has been playing FFR for a really long time. He has to do a couple more achievements that he's been working on for a while such as getting that 1000 combo on a Very Challenging song and getting a AAA on a tricky song. He finally did them both and now he has access to the 1337 forum where he can discuss advanced topics about the game and brag about his scores. YAYYY Johnny is one happy FFRer. I'm not going to say any more for the sole reason of getting more people to read this. If its a page and a half long, I have a feeling that a lot of people won't read it. so... Go go gadget feedback!

Nah...I think skill tokens are enough and I can't really think of any useful bonuses. The forum sounds like a good idea in theory but private forums always die of lack of use (The ffr veteran forum being one)

I completely support this, as long as the songs aren't crap. I miss good skill tokens. =\

3rd Style is still a fantasy, floating in the minds of the admins. Maybe it'll be out February 29, 2012. That will be out next leap year celebration, releasing 3rd Style.
