Stepmania Olympics 2008

We should have a global competition to see which country is the best at Stepmania, with each country picking its own team members and the community organizing a song list to play. Having the competition at the same date (April 4th, for obvious reasons) every year would make it easy to anticipate, too.

Possible divisions: Spread, index, one hand, solo, pad

I won't be in because I'm only a top player in the SEC region, not the USA.

Cool idea though. Hey, you should make national qualifying matches that date and the actual Olympic event a couple months later.

I think the U.S. will win, with Canada coming in second. Or if ThaoR comes to FFR...we can all agree that Italy (or wherever he comes from) wins, lol.

We should structure it so that it's team-based. That way, one player doesn't just wipe the floor with everyone else and win it for the entire country.
