Did anyone get to see it and take any good pics? I couldn't...too damn cloudy.
The next total lunar eclipse will be on December 21, 2010. There will be a total solar eclipse on August 1, 2008. Gotta buy me some sunglasses by then. |

I've been telling people about this for a week and when it finally came around I slept through it.

I saw the beginning and end; during the totality segment I was actually in chem lab. But it was definitely pretty sweet, especially since we recently covered them in astronomy class (had a midterm today with a question about the eclipse, actually).

Wait, it was just supposed to be red, I thought a eclipse made it black...
I guess I saw it then. |

I had noticed that at the beginning of the evening the moon looked full, yet when I got home it looked crescent'd. I guess this is why, eh?
