Jumper
Good for action, mediocre for storyline.
Hayden Christensen isn't as whiny as in Star Wars. Acceptable performance by Samuel L. Jackson. Very loose plot, not much backstory, or even more than a couple sentences about backstory. Good special effects.

Mace Windu was more emotional.

Yeah I loved the movie, it was worth the $6.50 I payed for it. Then after the movie I went to sharper image and sat in the massage chairs for an hour or so.

Re: Jumper
ok so i just got back from the movie.
I was impressed. The overall plot was a little different from what i thought it would be but it was good. I really enjoyed the fighting scenes between Christensen and Jackson. The effects were also enjoyable to watch. The movie seems like it could be possibly setting up for a sequel. SPOILERRRRRRRRR ALERTTTTTTTT * * since Christensen left Jackson stranded in what looked like the Grand Canyon and he didnt actually kill him, it makes me think a sequel would be possible. Plus maybe give more background on his mother and why/how she got involved. And maybe the daughter we see at the very end. * * END OF SPOILLLERRR overall, i was glad i saw this movie in theaters. A little on the short side but great to watch. 9/10 |

Re: Jumper
Effects were great. The Brit was hilarious. Ending was blah. Storyline didn't explain much and the progression was ok.

Re: Jumper
I really didn't like it. I expected more from the previews...but the preview tod the whole story pretty much. Add a couple of
Plus, I doubt there were really plans for a sequal. It was moreso, "Let's get this done by Valentine's so we can rake in more sales." Visually, it was great. The ending DID suck. I wouldn't recommend it. Chik flick with moar actions. 3/10

Any more questions? PS-The only similarity between the movie and the book was that the kid could teleport. Everything else in the story was original (or that's what my friend told me anyway). |

I laughed when the guy left the black guy in the cave.
Shouldn't the Brit have died when he was thrown into the powerlines? |

Re: Jumper
It was nothing spectacular but quite entertaining. Nothing really deep or anything, just good, solid, entertaining action.
