Underage Lovers on the Run?!

This has been going on for over a week now. I dont know if anyone has linked or what, but ive been following the story.

The story takes place in Michigan.
The boy (15) is dating a girl (13).
The parents finally had enough of this.
They told the boy he couldnt date her.

-Now, at 15 years old, how would you react?-

That next morning at 4am, he grabs his xbox, family dog, and his christmas money (i think $500+).

Next he gets the keys to the Minivan!, picks up his girlfriend (who stole $100 from her mom) and away they go.

That was one week ago.

Moments ago, the girl called one of her friends and said that they were running out of money. The call was traced all the way to Nevada.

Are they seriously going to make it to California?!

not yet they didnt..

the girl wrote a letter asking if she could stay at her house "if she ever ran away".

thats the main reason, at the time that was wrote, that they thought they would be heading there.

Didn't read, but I know someone who tried for Canada once. She was about that age when she tried. Later that night they were picked up 1 hour away because they were the only 2 people in a McDonalds and one of them was playing a guitar. There is more to my story but I don't think that it really applies.

I guess he wasnt worried about gas mileage.

And, as soon as he realizes what a bipolar girl is like not on her meds, he'll take her right back home... i have before

This story is rather pathetic. I mean if that kid has brothers think of how pissed they would be to find that not only did he ditch them for some chick who is 2 years younger then him. He also took the family xbox and dog. What an ass. Seriously that was a really bad idea it's not that hard to date behind your parents' backs anyway.
