So it's that time of year for most of the college students out there. It's the end of the semester and everyone is cramming. My finals don't start until Friday but I am going to be working all day tomorrow and study time will be minimal. I've been up since 9AM studying and writing last minute papers. I'm going crazy over here. I hope everyone else is doing just dandy.

im doing fine. i try not to worry so much about finals. as long as youve done well throughout the semester, there shouldnt be much to worry about it. however, if youre borderline between a pass and fail be real nervous.

I find finals the easiest part of the year for some reason. I just let them come at me and I take care of them.

I've already taken three.
Here's the deal. Exam 1: Geography 101. Getting a 50% or better on the exam meant a pass. Getting a 70% or better meant an A. Exam 2: Business Minor meaninglessness. Taking the exam meant I passed the class. The exam ended up being common knowledge. "IT Specialists are important to businesses. T/F?" Exam 3: Telecommunications. If you even glanced at the review sheet, you aced the exam. Fun thing is, once again, the outcome of the exam meant nothing on whether or not I passed the class. Exam 4: Human/Computer Interaction. Worst exam. 8 essays. The only one I'm worried about, but again, if I get a 50% or better, I'll pass the class. I'm thinking about preparing for this class. Exam 5: Networking. Another bad exam. Everybody failed the midterm, so I doubt it'll be any different for the final. I'm not worried, though. The two exams cover 30% of the total grade (15% each). So failing doesn't make me fail the class. I have about an 80% without the final. So yeah. Even if I fail it, I don't care. The best part is that I haven't ever paid attention in any of these classes. |

Freshman in high school here, our exams are next week. The only two I'm worried about are Bio I and FACS (Family and Consumer Economics).

I'm mostly nervous about my Logic and Probability (it sounds simple eh?) exam next Wednesday. I'm terrible at math in the first place, and half the people in the class are retaking it because they failed it the first time around. I wouldn't even be taking it if in the first place if it weren't a psych requirement.
For now I'm just killing myself over stuff I should have done weeks ago.

Finished with 3, and I have 1 to go.
I take my last final Thursday which is Programming Concepts 2, an easy class.

My best final exam question ever was from the worst professor I've ever had.
"Who is your favorite Egyptian god/goddess? Why?" He was so lazy. Made us do presentations on the reading every class so that he wouldn't have to talk and then gave us grades based on our presentation style, not content. Just thinking about it makes me angry. I learned so little. I did get a good book on Mesopotamia out of it though. Well I say good and mean entertaining.

I'm a senior in high school, so my finals are next week.
You've got good reason to be nervous, if your grade is low like mine. I'm sure you'll do fine. I'm just not too sure about me... |

Three finals in one day -- and that wasn't even the whole gamut. My Stat final was beastly.

My AP Human Geography teacher decided not to give us a final exam, just a "rate the teacher" sheet.

My last year of university, first semester.
Exam 1: Canadian History, pre-confederation Part 1: Identify and briefly state the historical significance of 5 of the following people (list of 22) 1 mark each /5 Part 2: Identify and briefly state the historical significance of 2 of the following events/treaties (list of 20) 5 marks each /10 Part 3: Answer one of the following essay questions dealing with a group of people (list of 8) 10 marks, /10 25% exam out of 25. And that's it. Just the one exam. (Mind you, final exams in the last year of a history degree seems kind of meaningless. I mean, the 65% research essay I had to write indicates just what kind of work you -do- get at this stage) |

That isn't fair.
Our essays are either "here are two, choose one", "here are three, choose two", or, in my case, "here are eight, choose eight" what is this balderdash about getting to choose five out of twenty two. |
