Default Has anyone ever played...

As a kid I played a crapload of really old DOS games... most of which nobody has ever heard of :\

For example, has anyone ever heard of: Commander Keen, Quest for Glory (aka Hero's Quest), King's Quest, Space Quest, Startropics (which was actually an NES game), or Sam & Max: Freelance Police?

Forgot what it was called.

Anyways, has anyone played Uplink, for the PC? That game rocks hard.

www.agdinteractive.com

They've made VGA remakes of the first two King's Quest games and they're working on a remake for Quest for Glory 2.

Anyone remember DOOM? Wolf3D kicked off the genre, but if it wasnt for DOOM and it's "Kill everything that moves" gothic theme, we wouldnt have the awesome Quake 3 or UT(/2003/2004) of today.

God bless DOOM.

DOOM kicked off the FPS genre, you silly silly boy. It was FPS. There was nothing before it. That game was so amazingly revolutionary that it was probably the most revolutionary game...EVER. Plus, that game is HARD...anybody every played it?

Who hasn't played DOOM? Seriously.
I still remember some of the cheat codes:

IDDQD - god mode
IDDT - Map
IDSPISPOPD - no clipping in DOOM
IDCLIP - No clipping in DOOM 2
IDKFA - Guns, ammo, & keys

That's all I can remember
And by the way, Startropics is the best game.
Ever.

The name of the game is Treasure Mountain. I don't know if my random shouting made that clear to anyone, so there's some clarification.
While I'm here, has anyone ever heard of Treasure Mountain?

I used to play it ALL THE TIME in kiddie school. It took 3 years worth of computer lab time, but I FINALLY finished it in 5th grade. It was a success of legendary magnitude amongst the students.
