I almost had a snow day yesterday. Almost.

But, on the other hand, we have a PA day on Friday so I guess that works out.

I had a snow day two days ago. 12'' of snow EVERYWHERE.
I made a snow pile in the middle of my backyard that was made of all the snow we had in the backyard. It must have weighed well over a ton. but then it poured yesterday, so it's only half it's original size =(

Lucky.

My old high school rarely had snow days because it was in some contract or something with 6 other schools. This meant that either all schools had to have a snow day, or no schools had a snow day. Basically, my school could only close if the 6 other schools closed.

It could snow 3 feet in just my city, and school would still be open. This sucked for 2 things. One, we still had school, and two, when the roads were REALLY bad in our city, people would be getting in accidents left and right... I remember once somebody managed to swerve completely off the road and hit (and break) our school's brick sign thats a good distance away from the road.

Psht! In Nebraska, we need a good 7 inches to get a snowday. If theres ice, its usually 3 inches for a snowday.

We had a snowday yesterday, over a foot of snow in the weekend, then on monday, roads had over 7 inches of snow... i was snowmobiling on the roads rofl.

There was snow around my area for like 2 hours, and then when it finally STARTED sticking, the sun came out and the sky was bluer than ever. =/ Wtf is up with that? =(

Yeah my school might have a snow day tomorrow too, A lot of snow fell today and apparently we're gonna have a storm tonight, It's not like i have to go to school anyways, but i guess it'll benefit the rest of the people in my school. But my school also has the alliance with other schools and we don't close unless the other few close.. it sucks balls.
