Default Is there a way to get some HARD CORE TRAINING!

Well, not necessarily "hard core" but like a way to improve myself to the point were i can read the arrows faster and better and increase my reaction speeds to them. If there is none that is a good idea to make something simaliar to this. Another good idea to me is a rpg type thing where you go level by level and it goes up one difficulty per level.[/b]

Practice and try different ways of playing till you find the way that best suits you (1 hand, 2 hand, 2 fingers ,etc)

Well there really isn't a way to learn it very fast. Like all things, the best way isn't the way you would want it to be. Realistically you'll just have to keep at it for a long period of time. How long? If you're starting from scratch like I did, about a year. Of course the game was in earlier betas for me so it was more offbeat and less songs to practice on. I suppose you could always just play constantly 24 hours straight, that would be hardcore training, but I don't think anyone would want to put themselves through that match.

play the songs you can barely beat.. and keep playing them.. or just play songs like max300 until you can SDG them... this will work on timing and reflexes.. find one song that you would like to be able to beat.. and make that your goal to pass it.. then keep playing songs you can barely pass until you get good enough at them to beat them easily.. then try your goal song agian.. if you cant beat it.. then keep practicing.. but if you can, set a new goal song and aim for that.. i guarantee you will see an improvement in a week (depending on how much you play maybe 2 or 3 weeks)...

ps.. dont expect to set blur or 340 gabber as your goal song.. pick something simple but challanging.. like... uber rave or stratosphere..

Practice, and uh.. that's it. The only way you could get "trained" is if someone good was there to help you in person.

Just practice, practice, practice. That's all there is to it. And like 87x said, play the uber hard songs that you can only begin before you die. You'll eventually start noticing patterns, and you'll start getting combos, and you'll just get better.

do breaking the common in the dance section. best song for learning to play there is. very hard for beginners but it has massive patterns.

search for fairly challenging songs that start very hard- you dont want to choose a song with one hard part and a bunch of really easy parts, these take too long. [/quote] Breaking the common is definitely good for this. Otherwise, just practice a lot
