Does anyone here on FFR use a program such as Gamemaker, or know a programming language? I'm browsing between my two internet loves, FFR and Programming, and wondered if the two could be combined....

FFR has been combined with programming.
It's called FFR R1, FFR R2, FFR Resonance, Spin it Up.

LOL
I meant NON-internet related programming. Programming other than HTML, Flash, .NET, and anyothers like them. (php is a language? hmmm...) C, Delphi, Pascal was what I was referring too. And I saw that mountaind dew at the Admin meeting. I wondered who it was. Sorry, nobody drinks the diet anymore.

It would be helpful it you could come up with some idea.. Rather than just spouting out what ifs.

I know PHP and FLASH Ooh, maybe one day I could have my own FFR, and I could name myself an absolute monarch! People will scream and wet themselves if I were to even type a single sentence!

.NET is not an online programming language...
If you don't want anything online, Visual Basic is a good place to start, but I prefer Java over it. C++ is a Windows platform standard, but can be a little difficult for a beginning programmer. Really, it depends on what you want to be able to do. For example, Perl is excellent for string manipulation, but C++ is much faster and better suited to large applications and systems. Also, as a warning, if you're not willing to put a large amount of time and dedication into learning how to program, don't bother. It's a bit like learning an "actual" language, like French or English. It take patience, but if you like it and are willing, it can be very rewarding. |
