I hold shift and it no longer registers the keys. I have to resort to hitting the caps lock button.
If I hold down either shift key the following letters respond. Left shift QWERUIOPGHZXCVBNM Right shift QWERTYUIOPGHBN Many symbols and numbers don't register as well. I have no clue what happened. I turned on my PC today and it was like that. |

Solutions:
1. Buy new keyboard. 2. Get new computer. 3. Deal with it **Choose Wisely** |

I would just go back to XP alltogether. If you actually bought the full version of Vista, I would highly recommend returning it. Wait for a better, or fixed version. I have seen and heard enough problems with it. =/
Oh yeah, which version do you have Spinal?

Home Premium.
It wasn't my choice. My PC came with Vista. Vista SP1 comes out later this year right? Quote:
I'm messing around with the keyboard lauguage thing to see if anything works. |

It's more likely to be a keyboard problem than a Vista problem. Go grab a new keyboard (you should get a USB one), then if it still happens you might want to post your problem on an actual tech support forum, such as http://forums.techguy.org/
I've never heard of this problem before, so sorry if I can't help you much. And for your information, Vista SP1 comes out January. And TheBoneIII: You have no idea what you're talking about, so I advise you refrain from posting in threads involving Vista.

Until 2008, I'm sticking with XP. My mom's friend who works at Microsoft says they should have fixed most bugs that are on Vista by then, so I'm waiting for a few more months.
As for you: 1. Go bak to XP Or maybe.. 2. Try putting batteries in your keyboard.... usually works for all of us :P
