Where do you keep your eyes/look when playing?

When I play FFR or stepmania, usually I tend to stare at my combo number or fantastic/excellent/great area, but my accuracy isn't very great. I was wondering if looking at different locations helps increase accuracy and timing.

its a good question

for single arrows i follow the arrows movement

in case there is a pattern i can read i follow the first arrow and tap the rest of the pattern

for real quick songs i go sometimes to blurred vision/day dream technique
and let my fingers and brain do all the work and i am like not there
that condition is the most interesting and eerie

Bottom of the goal arrows. I glance over at the combo and such ever so often.

when i play SM, i tend to stare at the midpoint between the marvelous label and the stationary top arrows.

I look everywhere =0 ...

If the song goes too fast I look at the bottom of the static arrows, if it goes slow I look at the point where the arrows come out, sometimes I also look at the score to guess how many goods I've got xD, and sometimes I look nowhere and everywhere at the same time, you know like... staring at the screen but not looking at anything specific ^^.

I look just over the combo when I try to AAA something, on harder songs, however, I watch the combo all the time.

To actually stay on topic, i basically just look at the whole screen. I ignore the combo as much as possible, since it cuts so much of the view out.

I kind of daze in and out of conciousness with my mouth agape...

Sometimes I look at the combo... sometimes in the middle of the combo and the arrow receptors.


It all depends on my mood really
