I need a electric guitar vst.
I need it for mad tracker 2.
I'm thinking about making a techno/rockish-like song. I want to have a electric guitar sound to it so if anyone has one or knows where I can get one without paying please share =D Thanks.

Well... I can't really suggest any one single VSTi... The best I would say is if you're using FL, or even if you're using something else, but have FL, use FL's Slayer VSTi... Or you can get Absynth and play around with one of many guitar effects and make something you like or use a preset (I personally use Absynth) otherwise I would say using a 3rd party program and search for 'guitar vsti' for example... I did and got a BUNCH of results, most of which are just bundle packs of a bunch of VST's to keep you satisfied...
And if you DO wanna go the Absynth route, try to find the most recent 4.x version... It's definately worth getting... I hope this helped

actually... all you need is a guitar vst, acoustic or otherwise, and a tube distortion effect or other distortion effect.
you could also just use guitar samples, chop them to your needs, and use a sampler to acquire the pitches you need, and then use the distortion effects. kvraudio.com is a great resource for free vst plugins. good luck.
