I have always loved music games and have put them at the top of my list of favorite games. Here's the one's I have played:
FFR DDR (On X-Box, X-box 360, In arcade and I am going to buy it for Wii) Elite Beat Agents (Nintendo DS) Guitar Hero (1 and 2) StepMania and all other computer tapping arrows to b I just like to tap stuff to the beat of music. I seem to be good at each game i've played. I'm still looking for more games so if you know any good ones please tell me.

Beatmania IIDX (if you can find IIDX GOLD then you are one lucky son-of-a-gun).

In The Groove.
Always have been. However lately i've been playing less and less. It makes me sad. I need to rekindle my addiction somehow.

I'd recommend Pump it Up. Been playing it for a short while now and really liking it. There are several other music games I can think of that haven't been mentioned. Rez for instance, but it sorta resembles a shooter game if you look at some youtube videos. Technic Beat is another, but from what I've heard it's half puzzle / half rhythm game. Gitaroo Man is kinda a cult classic not many people have heard of but it's pretty interesting. There's of course Parappa the Rapper, which if you own a PSP go pick up the "original" they just released for it. The last one I can think of is Space Channel 5 which is sorta a simon-says sort of game.
Here are some vids to explore I guess... E. B. A!!
E. B. A!! E. B. A!! E. B. A!! E. B. A!! E. B. A!! E. B. A!! Donkey Konga is irritating. To clap, tap the drum instead. Frequency and Amplitude are prequels to Guitar Hero, and are fun to play as well. Both are for the Playstation 2. |
