Hey i was wondering if anyone knew of any good exercises that you can do to make your fingers stronger, in essence reducing any fatigue you may experience while playing a song on FFR. I believe there are 2 things to this game, being able to see the arrows and being able to keep up with your fingers. I have the seeing part down pat, but at the moment the only thing stopping me from full combo-ing CIA rave is finger fatigue. So, can anyone help me out here?

When you said fatigue, I thought about gigadelic. I want exercises too. I can read gigadelic on SM perfectly but my fingers can't do it.

I tap my fingers on desks at school and work. It's kinda of a habit but I guess it counts as exercise. Builds up caluses (spelling error) in my fingers so it doesn't hurt when I tap keys.

Good exercise for playing FFR: Play Fury of the Storm on SM with fail off multiple times in a row, it works good for me.

There should be a FAQ/sticky for this because I've seen so many threads asking this.

Continually press on any surface you can find and act like you're playing a song, nonstop. Go for about 10 minutes to an hour, and you should be good. Vary the speed you tap your fingers randomly at, so that you can increase your overall speed.
I did it once, and it helped a lot. Also, practice in school, during lunch, w/e. Envision yourself playing a song.

How do your fingers get tired...my wrists hurt but I don't get fatigued or anything. Best way to do it is to just play high BPM songs with 16th streams on FFR continuously like Vertex Beta and BB Revenge.

Stamina comes with time and experience. The more you play, the better you get and the longer you can play. Same for ITG as well.

Get some rubber bands and use them like exercise stretch bands for your fingers.
No idea exactly how effective it is but it certainly feels like a finger workout. |
