Speed Mods Work.

To the man who coded the speed mods, I'd like to buy you a beer. This song for some reason keep killing my avg rank. I rarely scored a rank below 20,000. I recently started playing at 1.25. My scores shot up on a lot of those old all blue arrow songs like cia/uber rave. But nothing compares to the marvel of this score. First try with speed mods, 541:45:4:4:11. Rank: 6564, more than a 10,000 rank jump, on a song that's i've admitted whored just to get it down below 20k. I love you, you coding wonders.

thanks, doug. there's currently 3 kegs of berghoff heading towards the house of synthlight.

oh and i just passed balloon fever for the first time ever. <3 speedmods

For FFR, another huge gain for me. my avg rank has gone from like 4070 to 3940 in about 5 games played.

i completely agree with chaz...i went from average to a lot better when i started playing at 1.25...like going from missing 20-30 on most challengings to basically being able to fc any challenging/very challenging in the course of a couple of days

i 1000% agree.
Speedmods took me from bad to not completely horrible.
just switch to two hands and your set.

Speedmods make me miss arrows sometimes, but my PA is kick ass now. it went from like, a 10:1 ratio to 25:1

i'm currently toying around with 1.25 and 1.5. 1.5 gives me better PA but it's harder to read on harder songs (very challenging+ mostly)...any suggestions? maybe i should just play with 1.5 for awhile until i get used to it...

Damn, nice improvments. Do you play much or are you on the forums more? Anyway keep it up. I wish speed mods worked for other scrolls than just up and down.

I've tried 1.5x and 1x+screencutting, both felt awkward and I consistently did worse.

and to the banned gentleman, im far newer to the forums than to ffr. im no whore though. i have about 4100 games played in the 3.2 years or so ive been here.

i've played 1.25, but that started to seem slow so i switched to 1.5 and that started to feel a little bit slow so now im trying to learn 1.75 XD

I use 2x, but it's too laggy on some songs so I have to use 1.75x...which is grandpa speed and too slow for me but at least it's better than 1x D: Half the time 2x feels like I'm playing SM at judge 2 with 20 fps.

I should probably just start screencutting with 1.75x but that's a pain.

i can't jack anything with speed mods but streamy stuff i use 1.75, it increase my PA so much, but whatever, i'm tried 1.5 half screen so i can still see my PA and somewhat jack but i must say until jack syndrome gets fixed
