Speaking of what fingers you use to play FFR...

Thanks to Dark Mind in a thread I started before...he said he never uses his thumbs or pinkies when he plays. Personally...I only use my index and possibly my middles fingers to play. The three are useless when it comes to FFR...So I was just curious how everyone actually plays it.

This has been brought up a million times but anyways.

I MAINLY use 4 fingers to play. Left = left middle, down = left index, up = right index, right = right middle
I sometimes use index fingers for songs like fotbb and some jackhammers and stuff and sometimes in those cases put my middle fingers or thumbs on top of or underneath my indexs to make them heavier and faster :P (sounds weird but works)
On some fast doubles I use my right hand and flick my wrist.

I use 2 hands. 1 hand for just the left arrow and the other hand for up down and right. this way my figures dont have to turn at all.

I just play the same finger layout as Nima. It's the most effective, in my opinion.

I play 2-handed. I hold my palms upward and press the keys with my 2 ring fingers.

Sometimes on easy songs like Secret Zombie Room I use my right hand, but on other hard ones I use both hands.

Right hand.

Left = index, up and down = middle, right = ring

Sometimes when my hand has to move around real fast (i.e. Uber Rave) this changes.

one-hand - same as Kilgamayan
two-hands - same as Nima

It depends on songs which style I use.
I did very bad on fast songs like Uber Rave with one hand.
I should use thumb at down arrow on such songs.

don't use your thumb, you'll never be able to move it fast enough for a lot of the harder songs.

I use the same setup as nima, sometimes I use 2 indexes for certain patterns, and on payon i use my left index and smash the other 3 keys with my right hand

I usually play with 2 hands and 3 fingers. Don't ask...its basically 2 fingers but depending on the pattern i use a third finger. It usually screws me up when I have to hit constant streams with fast mixes of turns and spins and stuff.

I also play with 1 hand o.O guess i do whatever i want to really. Currently learning 4 fingers, i can already A arrabiata and B snow and i've been playing like that for a week or so O_O its definitally the most effective method.
