Halo 3 Beta is Over!!

The Halo 3 beta is over. I've played it already at my friend's 360. and it's cool! Who tried it? Did you like it? Did it suck? Well, I wish Bungie made the beta longer for me to play.

I hope it was better than Halo 2. I still like the original more. Maybe it's just cause I miss the pistol.

The beta is easy.
I went over 18 each game.
Sniper is improved i think.
Lazer is dumb.

Haha, I rented Crackdown, and was able to play it.
And I don't think the laser was dumb, I liked it.

I tried it at my friend's, actually rather disappointed it only had 3 levels in the beta.
Not a huge 'OMGHALOBRBORGASM' fan, but I'll play it.

The Beta made me want Halo 3. Didn't play it though. Just saw that they brought back the Assault Rifle.

The bubble shied also probably had a hand in the wanting.

The assault rifle had less ammo than the first Halo, and the new X button made everything a little cooler. I prefer the land mine and bubble shield. The spartan Laser takes sometime to fire, but if you fire right, you OBLITERATE your opponent. I used it on CTF while i was defense, and I destroyed an escaping Warthog!!

spartan laser pwnz, sniper rifles got downgraded a little, but im still 1337 with it. spikers are fun to use, custom games made my life.

Hmm the laser is fun to use, but I think the new turret weapons are pretty sick.
Like the chaingun. Despite it's horrible ammunition supply, you can mow down light
vehicles and infantry with it.

i ditn like the beta that much. it was alright.
they should have kept more of the H2 stuff in there but whatever. Assault Rifle made a decent comeback. and the new grenades are awesome.
but i would have been happier with a campaign BETA. because all i want H3 is is for the campaign. they ended H2 too well.

No, sniping became harder and more realistic.
You actually have to lead, unlike halo 2.

The Sniper rifle looks upgraded to me. The thing that surprised me were the man-cannons. Instead of teleporters, we now use man-cannons to get in the center of battle.

When you put a Warthog or ATV in a man-cannon, it flips around in the air until it crashes down. When a player gets in a man-cannon, you float down to the ground, but the bad part is that you could get killed in mid-air before you touch the ground!!

While playing, as my teammates flew from the man-cannons, an enemy sniper on the ground started shooting at them, including me!! He got a killing spree that easy. I couldn't believe it!!

havnt played it yet. looking foward to though

. the orgianal is the best id say out of the halo1 and 2. but i thought the multiplayer in halo2 kiked asss

yeah, considering there were hundreds of glitches that could be used to your advantage.

Awesome. I was God with the spartan laser the first day and everyone always helped me get the spartan laser to win. Snipers looked upgraded. Mongoose isn't as strong or very strategic to use in battle, yet it was so tempting to drive!

Vehicles are much harder to destroy, but easier to kill people in it. Land mines are fun to use in the middle of a battle, yet your own teammates always kill themselves with it and you get a betrayal point.

Custom games were awesome. Invinciblilty, super-speed and low gravity (50%) makes my day. Just disappointed in how there were only 3 maps.

Overall, awesome beta, and so worth waiting for in September.
