I have the same problem. It'll load almost completely and then it'll stay stuck on "Loading Data Packet." And this has only happened recently, as in this weekend. Before that I was always able to access it on my computer.
I've refreshed, cleared my cache out numerous times, and restarted my computer. Nothing can get it to go on.
I'm in a college dorm. My roommates are all able to access the site no problem. Even when I go to the campus computer lab it will load. Just not on my own machine, where I clock in the most hours.
Is there any way to fix this, or am I doomed to hours of mooching on my roommates' laptops?
Thanks!

This is doing my head in. It's the same for me. It was fine before challenge mode came out! Did Synth change some of the coding for the loading of the packet? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

This problem is a real pain in the neck. Clearing the cache does nothing for it, neither does rebooting. Before this past weekend, I was able to access the FFR game just fine. Now it sits and perpetually loads. I believe the first day I had this happen was Saturday, Jan. 17th. All games played prior worked fine. I even tried signing in under another username, but nothing works.
Is there any way to fix this at all? I really miss FFR! Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!
Anyhow, this is all I get for hours and hours...

yep, you know what? it's definately the firewall. It won't work for me at school anymore either now, ever since the last upgrade. I suggest you look at what's on your computer, and disable it. Don't worry about Norton, it does nothing, but there are alot of script blockers people run on their comps.

Looking into this.. Would like to know more exact information from you guys though. Try to include browser and machine type, OS and internet connection type.

We will do our best to find a solution.

Cheers,

My school uses windows 2000 and windows XP, it won't work with Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. It connects to the internet through LAN. That's pretty much all I know.

I connect through a T1 connection in my dorm. I use an iMac running OS X 10.1.5. My browser is IE 5.2. I've tried to access the site through Netscape Navigator but no dice there either.
My roommates use the same connection yet are running Windows 2000, XP, and 98 with IE as well. They can access the site no problem.

Oh yes, I forgot to add that my computer is not running any firewall of its own.
Thanks...

Okay, I found a really stupid solution to my problem...
All I needed to do was download the latest version of Flash.
The FFR works fine now.
D'oh! That should have been one of the first things I did!!
Oh well. Thanks for the help from all yous! ^_^
