FFR League

Alright, i was thinking about this all last night when challenge mode first came out.
I was thinking about starting a league, each "season" would run for one month, and it would be a series of matches, double elimination, i would keep stats and such, and we would crown a winner, who would win all the credits from the challenges, and a "pot" determined by how many people participate.

So heres what i was thinking, everyone would sign up, then i would set up a table on who plays who, now comes the tough part, when the 2 people play each other, both players need to email me THE SAME EMAIL as confirmation of who won, all you have to do is forward it to me, there would be different rounds to see who plays who, and it would be a predetermined song for each round. We would play 1 to 2 matches a week depeneding on how many people.

like i said, im just brainstorming here, but i am very interested in running something like this, so let me know if you think its a good idea, then we can get it up and running!

sounds more like a tournament than a league....I think it would be cool if there was some sort of team play. you could form a team with 2-4 other people, give yourself a name, and then have team tournaments/competitions.....

course team Nima/Reach/Jello/Arch0wl/Volkov would win everything, but who cares

And like Nima and Jello would ever team up.

and have one god per team...then like 3 intermediate players....

Hav teams create threads for volunteers then the team leader (whoever) could pick one

your kinda right, it does sound like a tournament, but it would be run monthly
i could have it that you play like 5 matches and if you win the most you go to the "finals" or something.

I like the awesome player/underlings idea. Gives people a flag to fly under.

There should be a qualifier to join a team, though, so you don't get n00bs on it left and right. I think if you've cleared every song in the game you deserve team status.

im trying to compile some preliminary stuff to show you guys, i hope to have it up later tonight, however i have to go to my cousins Bday, and i have to DJ some girls birthday, so around midnight it will be up,
