Default Broken Guitar Hero Controller

My brand new Guitar Hero Controller keeps on thinking it is unplugged. All other controllers work fine. Please help!

I have it too, but I don't know why it won't work. All I can say is try trading it in for one that works.

Is it wireless? Otherwise just make sure the plug is shoved in all the way, I know mine is a little loose.

Ive never had this problem unless I just don't stick the plug in the entire way.

I had somewhat the same problem with mine, just open it up and make sure all the wires and connect, but that might not be the best idea, i would only do this if you tryed to trade it it and you couldn't, b/c if you open the guitar up they might not let you return it
