Ok,So earlier Tonight I decided I was going to play Sm, Clicked it twice, Went to task manager went to close one of the sm process and closed something else, My computer giving me "you have 60 seconds to save before it resets". So I said **** it and reset it, It would start to load windows display a blue screen for half a second and then restart, So I did Pc Recovery and now I lost 250 Gigs worth of Stuff, So I've Decided to Run linux. I do not have much knowledge in linux except For Tux cool . I need helping Picking a Version of linux, But I also Would like to run KDE on it, And Ideas?

I'd go with Slackware for learning the basics. It has easy installation and back when I used it, it could play SM with no problems.

My vote is for Suse... www.opensuse.org

It is VERY easy to install and comes with almost everything you need programs wise. KDE sucks compared to Gnome in my mid but Suse runs both of them, plus a ton of others.
