I must have played this song a !@#$ing hundred damn times, and I swear on the gods of Finger speed that I will castrate the next person (Guy or girl, I'll give you balls to rip off if you are neither) who comes within 100 feet of me if I get another damn good on Aztec.

Why you ask? Because this close frame bull**** is driving me out of my mind. I can get 436 perfects in this f'ing song and no matter what, if I'm not within correct frame sequence I get a miss... NOT EVEN A F'ING GOOD, I GET A MISS. So I end up with 436 perfects, 0 goods, 0 averages and a miss and boo because I am apparently not allowed to hit the arrow even though i'm on time. I don't mind totaling 5 or 6 goods on the song. But holy hell, let me at LEAST blackflag it before you let me get all the way through the damn thing and give me a fricken miss.

I swear the only reason people find aztec remotely hard is because it's sync errs to the early side, which doesn't bother me but apparently bothers a lot of people

This is becuase you have to hit FFR arrows like a minute early. Add the fact that the sync on that song is like two hours off, and people get pissed.

EDIT- I'd like to add to the discussion by stating that Lethal Injection is the worst piece of **** ever and should be wiped off this site by the time third style comes around.

Shash, the point of this thread was to more or less rant about how this really sucks. I'm not attacking the authors or anything here. Just more or less how impossible they are to complete in a consistent fashion. Now, I want you to also understand that we realize that you can AAA Aztec 5 out of every 6 tries, but what that makes you is an out-lier to the average expert. There isn't a doubt in my mind that if this exact stepfile were on SM that I could AAA it or even SDP it. But on FFR, it makes it so incredibly more difficult to even FC it let alone get a decent score because everything is based on combo.

Oh and guys, I covered everything in classic. I hate it all. Including easy-ass sonata.

And Hi19, I'll add that to the list.

Aztec is seriously like 18238 minutes early. I'm not exactly a PA whiz, but even with PA as bad as mine it means something when I FC Aztec with a 1:1 ratio of perfs to goods.

nope, you just suck at PA, honestly...playing with the music will give you a zillion jackmisses and 0 goods if you do it right, don't even try to claim you can tell sync in FFR better than I can, also if you're FC'ing Aztec with that kind of PA that means you're hitting RETARDEDLY early, not even close to the music

actually you're probably just used to most synced songs in FFR, which err to the late side because that's how I sync things, and I didn't sync Aztec

play Klung Kung or Classical Insanity, which also err to the early side, you'll see what I mean
