i was just recently playing onehanded, which is what i started on, then moved to both hands, and then just today realized, when playing onehanded how do you hit the up-down notes, cause i usually used my thumb, that really doesnt work on the faster songs :/ any position tricks or ways to make one handed more practical? cause i know its possible because of bahamut, but still, theres gotta be some tricks to hit some of the notes easier

I don't know of any specific "tricks" to make one handed play easier, but I use my middle finger to individually hit them. One the double notes, I quickly put my middle on the up and my index on down.
Works fine for me. |

Middle finger handles all up/down arrows. Right finger handles the right. Left handles the left.
The only tip that I will tell you is to not play one handed. jk. Practorz

I've actually been practicing jkl; one handed play where you use all 4 fingers of your right hand, i'm too lazy to stick with it but if someone did they would have insane ring / pinky finger endurance

For fast up/down runs, I usually shift my wrist and position my middle finger on the up arrow and index on the down arrow and fan the keys. It's easy, really.

Switch to 2 hands. 1 hand is too difficult because you can't mash (jk)
