Newbie question
I've been playing this game quite a bit. I've been playing since January 4th I guess. Anyways I can play just about any songs up to difficult, and can only play some difficult songs. I don't know why, but I'm not getting any better. And I do practice, I play about everyday. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips other than "practice".
Edit: My main problems are the streams of jumps with single notes in between. To me, those are freaking impossible. My other problem is complicated streams in most songs harder than Difficult. |

Re: Newbie question
If that is minimizing the screen and scrolling up, then yes I have. If it isn't, then no.

Re: Newbie question
You can experiment with different finger positions like index, spread, or whatever.
I am not that good at FFR but i always played one handed 3 fingered. Then I switched to spread and now instead of a 500,000 point max per song, I got my first over 1 million score recently after a week or so of switching! Try it!

Re: Newbie question
Spread is a finger set-up. Most commonly the left arrow down arrow with the left hand. And the 8 and 6 numberpad keys with the right. It's a way of having one finger for every arrow. And quite commonly used by the better players.

Re: Newbie question
Then you just need to practice really. Less than two months is NOT a long to be playing this. The vast majority of top players on this game have been playing (or some other version) for well over a year.
