Default Holy Night Remix...wierd stuff

Wow. I dunno why, but Holy Night has been wierd. First when I booted it up, there was no sound, no backround, and the arrows were moving really slowly. The next time it seemed to be playing normally, with the sound and backround, except there were no arrows. None. Whatsoever. So then I booted it up again. This time the backround and arrows worked, but there was no sound. Wtf?

It seems to do it for me most on reset. I've never booted the song and had this problem, but when I click the retry button it'll seriously...mess up on occasion.

Then the song begins speeding up in the middle, then slows down again. All we need to do for BPM changes it GlITCH FFR it seems =).

I got that bug too......I play it fine the first time, but when I click on "try this song again" it goes weird....arrows move slowly and there is no sound.

I confirmed this bug with someone in the FFR chat room...

not cheap, actually. It's INCREDIBLY hard to play that song slow and without music...especially when you're used to it at full tempo.

Hmm... I could load it up in Mozilla and get it on .5x music with no sound and get the max score... but I won't.

everyone is beating nima's score that he got on legit fast speed. If he tried it on this speed he could be AAA.

The speed jumps around though, it doesn't have a consistent BPM. That makes it harder.

For ME anyway...

Exactly what happened to me, I've been meaning to adress this. I bought this song, but unfortunately I'm still incapable of even passing it. After i failed, i pressed 'try song again' and then afterwards, sound was there, background was there, but the steps were coming up EXTREMELY SLOW. so slow that i actually got a nice 50 combo ^_^ But yeah that's cheating and I know it. so I failed the song and tried to see what was up. The stats were fine i guess. I tried again, this time, no steps, no music, just moving backgrounds. It's really mesesd up.

There's a process you can delete and it does this automatically, don't ask me how I know this >_>... <_<...

But yeah, it doesn't help at all, and I can never remember which process it is anyway, lol.

Yeah I found that this little "bug" also happens on IE6, and Netscape (7?). It also happens on several other songs. I am currently ummmm I guess "researching" this, on account of I have nothing better to do when I play.

It's not a bug with the browsers, it's with the song. The song will work every time like normal, at least after the first time, as long as instead of clicking "play again" you click "pick a new song, then just reselect it." If you have a really slow connection speed, the first time you play it, the background movie is loaded starts to run before the song is fully downloaded and is about 6 seconds ahead for the whole song. I've tested all this alot because this is my favorite song to play and show off to non-ffr players(it really impresses them). I play it all the time.

yes, there is an issue with the background being off too....but that's not what my problem is. I can live with it.

and no, the problem isn't browser specific. Appearantly people here use mozilla, and I myself use IE6.

if you can play this at slow tempo without music, then you are a better FFR player than I...but if you use this to your advantage, then good luck on all of your future endeavors (you'll need it).
