Tired of the existence of postwhoring? Sick of the overabundance of spam? Are all those sarcastic responses really necessary? Well, fear not citizens of FFR, for Moogy and Privateer are here.

Our goal is simple: make FFR into a respectable, sensible, intelligent community. We understand the issues lingering, and we know that there are answers to them.

When you enter the chit chat forum and there's a complaint about how hard Hellbeat is, and that FFR should condemn itself to hell, what goes through your mind? "Where are the mods?!" But what can you do about it? Nothing. Replying never accomplishes anything. It always becomes one, big, pointless flame war. So, why let this go on? Why even lock it? DELETE IT.

We propose a more strict atmosphere. Things like IP bans in the chat, issuing forum warnings, and a solid, clear set of rules, would make drastic improvements to the FFR environment.

Our backgrounds are strong. Just take a look at our track records:
Moogy - Well experienced moderator in many forums, and is now currently a moderator at *removed*. Respected as a poster and person. Has one of the best posts:day ratios on FFR. Runs a website and forums, as well.
Privateer - Honored as poster of the year by EZBoard, ending the account with over 82000 posts. Has collected 482 karma on GameFAQs, the home of n00bs. Been a member of FFR since February. Has been an administrator of many large, successful forums in the past.

We read and post on every single forum availabe, and are on daily. So follow our slogan... Crap? Delete. (period)

Good luck. Did you see that post your age thread I made? Yeah, the demographic in there is pretty much spot-on for the rebellious little fuckhat group that wants to do their own thing, because they're an individual goddamnit. You can't control those people with anything short of a banstick, and mods can't ban.

Furthermore, if you understand those issues lingering, then address them... Now. And I'm glad you know there are answers, but do you KNOW the answers?

Yeah that does go through my mind. See above point about age-demographic and flame war situation. Also, deleting makes the people wonder 'where the hell did this thread go?' You lock it so people can know that it turned into a crapfest and that it was moderated.

ay ratios? Sounds to me like you're a spammer. Please clarify the good points about your post to day ratio. And your forums? Probably has no post-flow, you don't learn to be a mod from postless forums.

And what exactly does poster of the year by EZBoard mean? He hit submit the most? Although Privateer's track record isn't that bad, I'd like to know what these 'large, successful forums' are.

And if you think I'm coming out here with a stupid and pointless attack, let me establish my moderating ethos.

I too, have been a moderator of many forums. Including a site, www.cheatlist.com (now mostly defunct) which achieved more than 3,000 posts per day that I was an administrator of. I have also held many various moderating positions at places such as http://mysmilies.com/cwmb and other various forums. So I do have a multitude of experience in the field.
