2-handed and Screen-shrinking

1) How should I place my fingers when using the two-handed style?
2) About how much of the screen should I be seeing when I use the strategy of cutting off half the screen?

well you shouldnt take it from other people...you should play with what you feel comfortable with

First try shrinking so that you cover up the score, and a bit more beyond that.
If that isn't enough, shrink to right up to the bottom of where it displays "perfect".
If that still isn't enough shrink over the accuracy display (you won't be able to tell anymore- that's a downside).
If that still isn't enough shrink it so you can't see the combo anymore.
If that STILL isn't enough you are probably insane.

Shrink it to where all you can see is the life bar.

Screen shrink to where you can reliably get a decent combo on songs. Also, left middle goes on left, right middle goes on right, left index goes on down, right index goes on up. You can use the arrow keys, the number pad, or download autohotkey from http://www.autohotkey.com/ and customize any keys that you want for ffr.

2 handed: Anything in a row. (known as spread style, use autohotkey. It's a pain to setup at first but worth it)

Shrinking: Find a uniform fitting. I go so I see half my combo for hard songs and songs that I FC I bring down so I can see the perfects.

negative. Playing with what is comfortable can hurt you further down the line because you've played with something that doesn't allow you to do harder songs.

Take advice from others when finding the best setup. (The better the player the better their advice.... sorry if that sounds hateful, but it's the truth)
