![]() Im getting tired of only being online at school for only a couple hours at a time. I have a computer at home already but it's dead and i also have an old thinkpad (so old it has only a USB 1.0 port and ony a dial-up connection). Does anyone know where i can find a dirt cheap, working computer; or any idea on what i can do to that thinkpad to get online and probably play SM?

Hahahahahah AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Oh, that was a good laugh. There are better economy computers that are cheaper then Dell out there. Look into getting possibly getting a refurbished Pentium 3 or greater. Those will do you good. www.tigerdirect.com Tiger Direct has great refurbished computers, for a really, really good price. |

eMachines... HA.. lol. eMachines = ****. They are not worth anything. The best computer is to buy off-lease computers from amazon.com. They are OK for the price and you are able to choose from a lot of different manufacturers. |

![]() I don't think Dells suck at all. I've had this Dell pc for 5 years almost. Never had a problem with it.

![]() You aren't going to find much else for a "cheap" computer. Refurbished is the cheapest you can get. Dell is good quality for a cheap price. In-store computers generally suck, but they're also pretty cheap.
Shop around. Dell changes the sale on their site every week or so. I bought a computer for my sister that should have cost 2,000 dollars. It cost 700. |

I have an eMachines computer. Granted, I'm pretty sure there's better out there, but I've thrown this thing out a window two times, once deleted my sys32 folder, made contact to it with a hammer at high speed, burned it, sacrificed it to Satan, and used it to clean my dishes, and I'm still here posting on FFR from it.
eMachines are extremely reliable and, spec-wise, good for the price, and they're extremely reliable. I don't know what your problem with them is other than prejudice from your fifteen year-old pseudo-tech-geek friends. The computer I'm running, a T3958, runs for <$300 refurbished. It's an amazing deal for the price, and it should be in more than working conditions.
