3rd style. and even there, i kinda disagree with speed mods. the scrolling c300 is what makes r1 what it is. it's going to be weird as anything when i dont have the screenshrink anymore.

And I would be inclined to say that you get far worse scores than those of equal skill who do screenshrink.

And I love the C300 speed. Now when I play Stepmania with normal speed, I think "Damn it's sooo slow"

Yeah funnily enough... I agree. If my vote counted for anything, I'd vote against the implementation of speed mods. As well, are the arrow graphics themselves going to be changed so they flash? If so, I think that would be unfortunate, because the solid non-flashy arrows we have now are great, and give character to R1.

I myself also use C-mods when it doesn't disqualify any sort of rankings so the FFR scrolling comes across as natural to me anyway. But the bottom line is, speed modding won't come until the next big update.

every good player on ffr is not going to want speed mods because it'll be so strange to see the full screen and the arrows stream up.

I think I like screenshrinking rather than speed mods in FFR and SM. Kinda strange but I do.

If it would be too different to use speed mods if you're used to screenshrinking, just don't use them.. durr.

That's all I have to say, and I use screenshrinking as well and I hate speed mods even on DDR.

it would be fun to have, say a 1x and 2x and c300 mode tho (now that there are bpm changes), imo 1x or 2x would make the games we have played more fun...
